The best flat water paddling in Indiana, is in Brown County is on the tributary creek backwaters of Lake Monroe.  Pathfinder Outfitters provides special, easy to paddle  kayaks for this area. They are designed to allow the paddlers to cover a lot of water. We also offer specialty fishing kayaks suitable for extended fishing and photography sessions.

You will be treated to an abundance of wildlife, fantastic scenery, paddling and hiking through the Wilderness of Hoosier National Forest. Quality, primitive camping along the lake shore is also an option with a trip to this area. This is a remote wilderness trip in Indiana’s biggest wilderness area.  Allow at least 4 hours for this trip as there is so much to explore.

This is only available during high water March through June. There are a few logjams to negotiate.
